Breakfast Sandwich with L&S Chicken Bacon Cheddar Sausage

This hearty breakfast sandwich features L&S Chicken Bacon Cheddar Sausage, a fried egg, melty cheese, and a buttery toasted bun. Perfect for a satisfying morning meal!

Ingredients (Makes 2 Sandwiches)

  • 2 L&S Chicken Bacon Cheddar Sausages
  • 2 English muffins, Cotacachi’s German bakery Pandala has some great ones!
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese (or your choice of cheese)
  • 2 tbsp mayo (optional)
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Sausage:

    • Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the L&S Chicken Bacon Cheddar Sausage. Sear each side of the sausage then add a tablespoon of water, cover and cook until golden brown and heated through (about 3-4 minutes per side). Slice each sausage in half and set aside.
  2. Toast the Buns:

    • Spread butter on the inside of the English muffins.
    • Toast them in the same skillet until golden and slightly crisp.
  3. Cook the Eggs:

    • In the same skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter.
    • Crack in the eggs and cook to your preferred doneness (fried, over-easy, or scrambled).
    • Sprinkle with salt & pepper.
  4. Assemble the Sandwiches:

    • Spread mayo on the toasted buns.
    • Layer with the cooked sausage, a slice of cheese, and the fried egg.
    • Top with the other half of the bun.
  5. Serve & Enjoy!

    • Best enjoyed fresh, but you can wrap in foil for an on-the-go breakfast.
