Apple and Caramelized Onion Stuffed Pork Loin
This has been one of our L&S family favorites for years, and we can finally offer it to everyone. This is the tender, juicy pork loin stuffed with L&S’ famous Apple and Caramelized Onion sausage mixture. This is a stunning gift or a fantastic centerpiece for any special meal.
Pieces available 2lbs up to 4lbs at $7.75 lb. Per package cost will vary slightly depending on the exact weight of the roast.
Description
Cooking Instructions:
Sear for Extra Flavor (Optional but recommended!)
- Heat a large oven-safe skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
- Sear the pork on all sides for about 2 minutes per side, until golden brown.
6. Roast in the Oven
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the pork loin in a roasting pan or the same skillet used for searing.
- Roast for approximately 15 minutes per pound of the roast, or until the internal temperature reaches 140-145°F (60-63°C) in the thickest part.
7. Rest & Serve
- Remove from the oven and tent with foil. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
- Slice into thick rounds and serve with your favorite sides!
Tips & Variations:
- For extra juiciness: Baste with pan juices or melted butter while roasting.
- For a crispy crust: Broil for the last 5 minutes.
- or a slow-roast version: Cook at 325°F (160°C) for 1.5-2 hours (or until the internal temperature reaches 140-145°F (60-63°C) in the thickest part) for an even more tender result.
