Smoky Honey Garlic Wings
These wings are smoky, crispy, and coated in a sweet and garlicky glaze. Perfect for game day, barbecues, or just because!
Ingredients:
For the Wings:
- 1 package L&S fresh chicken wings (split into flats and drumettes)
- 1 tbsp baking powder (for extra crispiness)
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
For the Glaze:
- ¼ cup honey
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- ½ tsp chili flakes (optional for heat)
Instructions:
Step 1: Prep & Season
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Pat wings dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, toss wings with baking powder, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
Step 2: Bake for Maximum Crispiness
4. Arrange wings in a single layer on the wire rack.
5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
Step 3: Make the Glaze
6. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
7. Stir in honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and chili flakes. Simmer for 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
Step 4: Toss & Serve
8. Remove wings from the oven and toss them in the warm glaze.
9. Serve immediately with ranch, blue cheese dip, or a squeeze of fresh lime.
