We have transportation available from San Francisco Park in Cotacachi starting at 11:30am on Saturday, August 30th for $1 per person, and it will be available throughout the afternoon with Mapochtours (Patricio and Milton Andramunio). Just meet them in the park and they will run a shuttle to and from the farm. Look for the Chili Cookoff signs in the vans to identify them.

The Chili Cookoff is held at L&S Farm, right outside Cotacachi. We are located 2 hours North of Quito, near the Indigenous community of La Calera.  10 minutes from the beautiful hamlet of Cotacachi, known for it’s leather goods and craftsman, and 15 minutes from the Saturday market at Plaza de Ponchos in Otavalo.

The pin on the map is for the gate at the entrance of the farm. The gate is a simple black gate and has “LNS Farm” written on it.

Don’t forget about the shuttle to and from Parque San Francisco in Cotacachi and the farm running throughout the afternoon.
While Cotacachi and the farm are a quick trip from Quito, if you’re interested in staying overnight in our neighbor community of La Calera contact Luis at 095-889-8416. He can also arrange tours of the area.
