As I write this, it’s been a rocky month. Because of local protests and road blockages by the local Indigenous communities, for over 30 days, we haven’t been able to operate normally. Most days, we haven’t even been able to leave the immediate area of the farm. Cotacachi, our hometown, has been cut off from essential services, and the transport and distribution of goods—including propane—has been heavily restricted. Stores are bare, we’ve been able to produce meats to support our community and keep us going day to day.

November is the month of gratitude, and this last month has brought that into sharp focus. Despite the challenges, we’re deeply thankful—for our health, our land, and especially for you, our community.

We need your support more than ever, and we’re looking forward to resuming regular shipments and operations soon. To everyone who has reached out with kind words and offers of help: thank you. The best way to support us right now is to continue shopping with us and sharing our products with your loved ones.
